Steb pinch-hits for Big Baby Jow and hits a grand slam!

Deli Days

The tenth and second-to-last Happy Hour Book Club Eating Meeting got off to a roaring start with Steb filling in for the very sleepy Big Baby Jow, who couldn’t wake up early enough to make the 2:00pm lunch appointment. On Rob’s suggestion, we had sandwiches at Papa Napoli’s. Steb was excited given his Italian-Stallion heritage and almost got into it with a wise-guy from Southern Sicily (as we all know, Steb reps Northern Italia). Nevertheless, the sandwiches were great (hot-pastrami for all of us except Steb who had his usual, spaghetti and spicy meat-a-balles!). After lunch, we grabbed some Slurpees and pretended to be about 5-6 years younger than we actually are. Big Baby Jow was missed, but we’ll see him soon for the final bash next week.

Second to None (Last)

Since I’ll be leaving for Vietnam in two-weeks time, the next and final Eating Meeting promises some out-of-town eating action as well as some Halo action afterwards. Hopefully everyone can make it and join in on the fun. There’s a rumor flying around that there might even be some Steb-on-Jow action…
